After a break caused by the quarantine due to COVID-19 coronovirus disease, the “Helping Hand for Ukraine” project resumed in June in the Luhansk region. In the city Center of social services for family, children and youth of Rubezhnoye, classes are held under the program “Children and War. Teaching Recovering Techniques” for parents. The group is conducted by experienced trainers – Tatyana Oboyanskaya and Elena Melnikovich. Participants in the classes are eight mothers who have fallen into difficult life circumstances. Some of them survived the violence, some were forced to relocate or divorce, while others worked hard to feed their children, and at the same time live on the brink of poverty … Each needs simple and effective ways to cope with stress and heavy memories, and just in support of other women. They get all this at group meetings.
