On November 18, Kiev psychologists of the “Helping Hand for Ukraine” project Irina and Aleksey Sukhov visited with coaches of the program “Children and War. Teaching Recovering Techniques” in the Luhansk region, who are currently conducting classes in the Severodonetsk educational comple “Specialized Collegiate School of the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy”. Elena Kravchenko and Marina Nechepaeva teach thirteen children 12-13 years old self-help techniques. The children are active, noisy and come to classes after the seventh lesson are already a little tired, but nevertheless go to these meetings with pleasure. After all, coaches put so much energy and heart into the guys, listen, encourage, choose games and stories for them, play with them, treat them to tea with sweets, create a warm atmosphere of trust where everyone can share their fear, obsessive memory, their story about the war.
