On December 22, 2016 the team of the “Helping Hand for Ukraine” International Relief Project has met with the representatives of the “Breath of Hope Mission” charitable organization in Maryinka (Donetsk region). During the meeting they discussed the possibilities for cooperation, particularly, “Children and War” training for local psychologists and humanitarian aid issue.
Presently Maryinka is located in the zone of war actions: shelling takes place every night, people hide in the cellars. According to the recent calculations of the experts from partner organization, near 170 children of different age continue to live in Maryinka. Both they and their parents need specialized psychological assistance in such difficult conditions.
In the nearest future “Breath of Hope Mission” charitable organization will open the Centre for Social and Psychological Assistance for children and families in the city. Thus, “HOPE worldwide Ukraine” is going to cooperate with the psychologists who will work there.
