In September, the classes on the program “Children and War. Teaching Recovering Techniques” began at schools №2 and №3 in the city of Pokrovsk, Donetsk Region. The program coaches Julia Rogoza and Lyudmila Samofalova work simultaneously with three groups of young and middle-aged schoolchildren. At the first meeting of one of these groups accounted for 15 children. They were quite liberated, willingly took part in all exercises and sincerely rejoiced at gifts – notepads and tea with sweets. The theme of the program turned out to be “lively” and relevant for them, some children even cried, but at the same time they continued to boldly discuss painful issues and share hard thoughts. We wish success to the trainers and each participant of this difficult, but such an important process of healing from the traumas of war!
