On October 24, a regular “To Know God” meeting, dedicated to Bible studies, took place in Kyiv Nursing Home for Labor Veterans (2, Zhukova st., Kyiv). The volunteers of “”HOPE worldwide Ukraine”” Charity Foundation guided by Serhiy Kondrat and Andriy Hurin, visited their old friends.
17 residents of the nursing home took part in the meeting. After the meeting the elderly and volunteers continued socializing. The volunteers brought sweets, tea and coffee, thus the discussion of the topic continued. Everyone shared their impressions and thoughts, talked about their own personal feelings and concerns. Such intimate talks are so necessary for the elderly.
