On February 11, 2017 the trainers-volunteers of the “Helping Hand for Ukraine” Project participated in “”Psychological First Aid in Crisis and Emergency Situations”” training in Kyiv. The participants deepened their knowledge of understanding psychological trauma, received necessary practical tools and mastered their skills during practical exercises with their colleagues.
The training was organized in cooperation with the “Integration” Centre for Mental Health and Trauma-Therapy. We express our gratitude to the trainer, practicing trauma-therapist Viktoria Veretennikova, for the interesting and informative day.
The event was held within Phase V of the “Helping Hand for Ukraine” International Relief Project which started in January 2017. It is implemented by “HOPE worldwide Ukraine” charity foundation with the financial support from Canadian charitable organizations including “HOPE worldwide Canada”.
