On March 8, 2014, the volunteers from our Foundation organized a festive program for women in Kyiv Geriatric Nursing Home: a concert, sweet treat, and socializing with new and old friends. Men were not forgotten either. In addition, traditionally volunteers brought sweets to those residents of the nursing home who are staying in their rooms. This time everyone was moved by the greetings and greeting cards handmade by children. They thanked the volunteers and asked to continue our meetings. As one of the nursing home residents said, “What you do here for us is a sacred cause”.
