On January 30, the team of volunteers from “HOPE worldwide Ukraine” Charity Foundation visited students of the Trypillya Boarding School. Traditionally, everyone greeted those who had birthdays in January. After the festive greetings children and volunteers went to classes to hold educational meetings.
The kids from primary school, 1-4 grades, talked about Christmas within the “Superbook Club” with Robik and watched the theme cartoon. Then they split into two groups. Each group chose a representative and others decorated the two so they looked like Christmas presents.
Meanwhile, pupils from 5-7 grades watched the “Soul Surfer” movie about teenager-girl who lost her hands. She showed extreme courage and willpower and managed to participate in the contest on the same rights as other healthy sportsmen. After the movie everyone socialized and enjoyed cookies with juice. High school boys from the “Man of the House” club continued the repairs under the supervision of the Foundation’s volunteers. And high school girls from the “Women’s Club” learned the art of manicure, discussed healthy eating habits and simple procedures necessary to keep hand and nails well-groomed.
