On October 17, the volunteers of “HOPE worldwide Ukraine” Charity Foundation spent the day with students of the Trypillya Boarding School. Traditionally, everyone greeted those who had birthdays in October. Their class-mates performed, then all children split to smaller groups so they could spend time efficiently, communicate, learn and have fun.
The youngest ones (1-4 grades) learned how to be obedient together with the Superbook and Robik. They watched the theme cartoon and made Robik out of paper. Students from 5-6 grades made baskets out of newspapers. Boys from 5-9 grades expressed the willingness to join the “Man of the House” club, where they would learn how to deal with electricity, how to properly handle tools for carpentry and locksmith, acquire skills of tile laying and many more. The first meeting of the club was dedicated to the development of further activities plan.
At the same time the girls from 7-9 grades continued to discuss the topic of femininity. This time, upon their request, the volunteers were teaching them how to cook, in particular, how to make good combinations of different ingredients, how to clean, peel and cut the products etc. They talked about proper nutrition and shared women’s secrets.
