Another wave of “Children and War. Teaching Recovery Techniques” trainings took place from March 23 to April 3. Online training was held for 100 new instructors who are ready to actively work with children and parents affected by the war against Ukraine. The training was conducted by psychologists of the “Helping Hand for Ukraine” project – Iryna Sukhova, Natalia Podoliak, and Olena Bozhor. The geography of the participants is vast – Vinnytsia, Melitopol, Khmelnytskyi, Chornomorsk, Dnipro, Uzhhorod, Kyiv, Odesa, Kaniv and a dozen other cities of Ukraine. It is also France, Switzerland, Poland, Turkey, and Georgia – countries where we plan to conduct “Children and War. Teaching Recovery Techniques” therapy courses for Ukrainian refugees.
We express our gratitude to Vasyl Stus Donetsk National University in Vinnytsia and the Hryhoriy Skovoroda Pereyaslav-Khmelnytsky State Pedagogical University for the fruitful cooperation.

Here is the feedback from participants:

Lilia Malyar: “The program is powerful, one really need to be brave to implement it. But we are strong, and who else can do it if we don’t. Thank you very much for leading me so professionally to the ideas that prompted me to work on myself as well. Thank you for the information. The techniques are great: to draw a dream and its positive ending, “Butterfly”, drawing “What will I do after the victory” (it reminded me of Lise Bourbeau’s technique). May Ukraine prosper!”

Yulia Arsey: “Thank you for the training! The online format made it a bit more difficult to perceive information and do the practical exercises. However, the trainers’ experience helped to overcome the difficulties. I really want to become a practitioner in this program”.

Alla Fedorovf: “Thank you very much for giving me the opportunity to meet and work together closely. The program is very interesting and informative. I look forward to our next meetings”.

Anastasia Moroz: “Thank you for such valuable and important knowledge! I am fascinated by the presentation of the material and the opportunity to hear practical advice from experience. My expectations were fully met. i am ready to get started! Thank you!”

Oksana Savytska: “I sincerely thank you for giving me the opportunity to breathe in the new knowledge and experience. I’m quite “full” now. We will help. This is our contribution to the Victory!”
